But her next adventure is set to be unlike any other she's taken before.
The managing director of online food and beverage guide Eat Canberra is set to be on Adventure All Stars, a travel-inspired television series, with every episode featuring Australian cast members undertaking an unforgettable journey to a secret location for six days of fun and adventure.
The difference between this show and say an Amazing Race-type show is that it's created by production company Charity TV Global and each contestant is required to raise at least $10,000 for a charity of their choice before filming.
In the case of Bidgood, her goal is to raise at least $10,000 for Headspace.
"I like to do what I can to help others and raise awareness about different causes that I'm passionate about and mental health is one of them," she says.
"I've had my own sort of personal battles and most people that I know have either been impacted directly by mental health issues or someone that they know has.
"I thought that this would be a really good opportunity to raise awareness about mental health. I think everyone's always fighting a battle that we don't really know anything about and unfortunately, mental illness is a silent killer."
At this stage, filming begins in October giving Bidgood a couple of months to raise enough money for the charity.
Once she reaches her goal, she can take part in the show, which showcases Australia's adventurous side with cast travelling to all corners of the country (coronavirus permitting) to experience quad biking, snow skiing, rock climbing, jet boating, deep-sea fishing, zip-lining, car racing, flying helicopters, whitewater rafting, bungy jumping, hot air ballooning, flyboarding, horse riding and more.
Of course, a pandemic - particularly one which follows devastating bushfires - has proved to be a challenging time to fundraise. Not only was Bidgood planning on hosting several fundraising events that couldn't go ahead due to social distancing restrictions, but there are a lot of organisations looking for donations at this time.
"I think all of these things that have happened impact people's mental health, so it's so important for people to continue to be giving to different organisations that provide mental health support for people who need it," Bidgood says.
"I've raised so far $1500 so that's 15 per cent of my target, and the aim is to raise at least $1000 a month. But I'll be looking at having some online auctions and things like that and maybe doing some giveaways. There's also there are some corporate sponsorship packages available, too."
