The Canberra Times was today reporting the sad and untimely death of Hollywood legend, Marilyn Monroe.

Monroe was the iconic film star well-known for her platinum blonde bob and sultry looks.
News had arrived from Los Angeles of the discovery of Monroe's body in her home.
She was found in her bed, her hand holding a telephone and it was suspected that her death was a result of an overdose of barbiturates.
A spokesman for the coroners office had said that Monroe was found by her housekeeper who then summoned two private doctors.
A Dr Ralph Greenson pronounced her dead while a Dr. Hyman Engleberg informed the coroners office.
The nature of the pills Monroe had taken was not identified although it was reported that they were prescription pills.
Monroe had been showing signs of mental health concerns and had recently been fired from the set of the movie Something's Got to Give because she continuously failed to appear for work.
In years to follow there would be a number of theories surrounding the cause and lead up to Monroe's death.
