NSW Police were called to the resort on Thursday morning after the Kellyville man allegedly refused to cover his face as he approached a ski lift and was asked to do so by a staff member, as per the resort's COVID safety plan.
The 43-year-old became argumentative with staff and would not comply, police said. He was directed to leave the area.
Police said the man, in a grey Toyota Hilux, was later seen allegedly swerving across Kosciuszko Road near Prussian Creek, beeping his horn.
He allegedly refused a breath test after police stopped the car and was taken to Jindabyne Police Station charged with intimidate police officer, refuse to produce Australian drivers licence and other traffic offences.
The man was refused bail and is expected to appear in Queanbeyan Local Court on Friday.
