Its current exhibition Australian Dreams: Picturing our built world will be able to be seen by the public for the first time - it was originally scheduled for a late-March opening but was delayed because of the coronavirus lockdown.
There will be restrictions on visitor numbers due to social distancing.
Fifty visitors are permitted in the Treasures Gallery and 75 visitors in the Exhibitions Gallery.
The reading rooms also reopen from Monday.
Seating is available for up to 140 readers in the Main Reading Room and 30 readers in the Special Collections Reading Room (including the Petherick Reading Room).
