The ACT's total number of cases remains at 113, with 110 people having recovered and three people dying in the territory due to the virus.
The ACT recorded 925 negative tests in the past 24 hours, which brings the territory's total number of negative tests returned to 52,526.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced on Sunday the state was taking a new approach to masks by strongly recommending people wear masks in four scenarios.
These were for anyone in a situation where socially distancing was impossible, such as public transport, and for workers in public facing jobs such as in hospitality and supermarkets.
Worshipers in any church, mosque or synagogue and people in areas which had seen high coronavirus case numbers or clusters were also strongly urged to wear masks.
Ms Berejiklian confirmed while the wearing of masks in these four scenarios was not mandatory, the government was strongly recommending it.
On Friday, Chief Minister Andrew Barr warned Canberrans not to travel to Greater Sydney unless absolutely necessary due to the coronavirus risk in the NSW capital.
The official advice from ACT Health regarding regional NSW was to determine the COVID-19 risk present in the area and reassess the need to travel to any area with known cases of the virus.
Canberrans should remain cautious while travelling, regardless of the destination and all ACT residents were strongly encouraged to maintain physical distancing and good hygiene procedures.
