There have been a total 113 cases in the ACT. Of those, 110 people have recovered and three people have died.
A new case has not been reported in 25 days.
In the past 24 hours 496 tests have been conducted, and 53,565 negative tests have been returned altogether.
Canberrans have been reminded not to travel to the greater Sydney area unless absolutely essential.
"Regarding regional NSW, we advise Canberrans to be aware of the COVID-19 situation in the area you are travelling in, and reassess your need to travel to areas with known cases," ACT Health said.
"We are also reminding Canberrans to exercise caution when travelling, regardless of location. While travelling, it is your responsibility to maintain physical distancing and practice good hygiene, as well as to adhere to the rules of the jurisdiction you are travelling to."
NSW reported 12 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm Monday night. Eight of those were locally acquired and linked to known clusters and three were acquired in Victoria.
ACT chief health officer Kerryn Coleman was alerted to the evolving situation in NSW but said state authorities were successfully tracing new infections.
She has told Canberrans to prepare for a possible spike in coronavirus cases by putting together "home kits" of essentials including soap, hand sanitiser and face masks.
Meanwhile, as Victorians prepare to enter the harshest lockdown measures Australia has experienced, penalties for those flouting isolation have increased.
That state reported another 439 new infections on Tuesday, and 11 deaths.
