The in-form Demons should make short work of the John Love-led Jets who are winless since the delayed season began last month, but a miserable weather forecast has left Harper on high alert.
"The weather factor comes into it tomorrow, the ball will be spending most the time on the ground, their boys are pretty smart as I've said to them, we don't want to be taking this game lightly, they'll still turn up, they've still got some good kids running around," Harper said.
"I know Johnny Love. He's doing his utmost to develop that playing group and the list he's got. We're by no means going to take them lightly.
"We've got things we're trying to put in place a the moment, and the weather destroys all the quality of what the spectacle will probably look like."
Harper and Love know each other well from the Belconnen Magpies, where the former was assistant coach for several years.
Love's task is establishing the Jets at the top level of AFL Canberra, and Harper said the fledgling club had the right man at the helm.

"He's taken the club to a new level with what he's implemented there, he's pretty astute, he knows his footy.
"It's not going to change overnight, he's got some good blokes there in Jack Dunn who was a Canberra Demons player.
"They've got a young group, we've got a little bit more experience and a bit more established than their club at this point in time."
