It's the sad side to life as a professional rugby league player - the fact Canberra Raiders halfback George Williams feels he has to learn to live with the abuse on social media.

He, thankfully, hasn't had to deal with death threats, like Melbourne fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen revealed he's regularly had to deal with, but he revealed the Raiders players did regularly cop abuse.
Papenhuyzen's comments come on the back of revelations Callan Ward, who plays for the GWS Giants in the AFL, received death threats following their win on Friday night.
Ward received a controversial free kick that led to the match-winning goal.
It's an unsavoury side to their lives in the spotlight.
Williams is enjoying a good first season in the NRL since joining the Raiders from the English Super League.
He's on Twitter and Instagram, and said he just tried to block out any of the negative comments he might receive.
"Touch wood, I've been alright. But I know some of the boys do get a spray sometimes," Williams said on Tuesday.
"You tend to get used to it. I've not had any death threats like what's been spoken about by certain players, I've never had it to that extent.
"Obviously, you still get abused quite regularly. It's easy for people to do behind your phone or behind your computer screen.
"A lot of those people wouldn't say it to your face. Take it with a pinch of salt and move on - that's my way of seeing it.
"Everybody's different. I try to just block it out. That's life. Everyone's negative about certain things - whether it's sport or whatever, it happens."
While Josh Papalii's never had to deal with it, he said Brisbane Broncos half Anthony Milford has been doing it tough from all the criticism of himself and his team from both the media and the fans.
Milford was still recovering from a hamstring injury and wasn't picked to play the Raiders at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.
The Raiders have named Siliva Havili (triceps) in an unchanged 17 from the one that lost to Penrith.
Brisbane have been struggling both on and off the field - so much so Papalii thought they hadn't won a game since the coronavirus shutdown.
He wasn't far off - they've only beaten the Canterbury Bulldogs in round nine.
Papalii was determined to ensure they didn't get their second - not before next week anyway.
"Exactly. They haven't won since we started back up. Our boys are just focused on what we can do," he said.
"I think the game on the weekend we let ourselves down and we didn't give ourselves the best opportunity to test the Panthers out.
"It will be no different on Saturday as well. We have to try and get off to a good start, try and limit the young forwards the Broncos have with the ball.
"The more we can do that I think we'll hopefully be singing the team song on Saturday."
Havili was forced from the field with more than 30 minutes remaining on the weekend and was unable to finish the game.
But there was confidence within the Raiders camp treatment would enable him to play the Broncos.
"I think he'll be alright. I'm not a physio, but he seems to be alright. He's in the gym and stuff so I'm hoping he'll be ready and fit for Saturday," Williams said.
