It comes after no new cases were detected in the past 24 hours, leaving the total number of cases in the ACT at 113.
Almost 800 negative tests were carried out in the past day, taking the total to 73,960.
The last confirmed case of coronavirus in the ACT was detected on July 10.
Despite the long stretch without a new COVID-19 cases, ACT chief health officer Dr Kerryn Coleman urged Canberrans to keep their social distance when out and about.
"Whether you're planning on heading to the footy or just making the most of the great weather this weekend, it is important we all continue to maintain physical distancing, practise good hand and respiratory hygiene, stay home if you are unwell and get tested if any COVID-19 symptoms present," Dr Coleman said.
Crowd sizes at Canberra Stadium will double this weekend, with a capacity of 3000 people for the Brumbies' clash against the Western Force on Friday night and the Raiders' game against the Bulldogs on Sunday.
The decision to increase crowd sizes at sporting events came following a decision from Dr Coleman earlier this week.
"For those heading out to see the Brumbies and Raiders, you must sit in your allocated seat and if you begin to feel unwell at the venue, you should notify a customer service attendant or first-aid officer on site immediately to ask for assistance," Dr Coleman said.
Health officials have said they were monitoring closely the virus situation in neighbouring NSW.
NSW recorded 13 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Thursday, 12 of those being locally acquired.
Canberrans have been urged not to visit the greater Sydney area.
