The Gungahlin Bulls became the first team to beat the young guns, taking advantage of an extra man to win 34-18 at Kippax on Saturday.
It's taken five games to defeat the junior Green Machine, but they're still on top of the Canberra Raiders Cup ladder after five rounds.
It was a tight affair until Raiders centre Jeremiah Simbiken was sent off for a high shot on his brother and Bulls centre Jedidiah Simbiken with 15 minutes remaining.
The Bulls led 24-18 at the time and were able to run in a couple of unanswered tries to seal the game.
Bulls winger Todd Sherd scored a double, including the opener and the closer.
Raiders 20s coach Ashley Barnes said Gungahlin deserved the win and praised their halves for controlling the game.
"Jeremiah Simbikin got sent off. He caught his brother Jedi high and he got sent off there with a bit to go," he said.
"Probably got him worse in the backyard previously, but they decided to send him off.
"There was only a few points in it and to the Bulls' credit they scored a couple and kicked away.
"They were good. Their halves controlled it well, their forwards played with lots of energy. They were good and deserved their win."

Barnes hoped the loss would act as a catalyst for his young side.
They lost winger Cooper Harris to a hamstring injury, but Barnes felt he would only be out for a few weeks.
Barnes praised the efforts of Trey Mooney, who started in the middle but shifted to an edge to help cover the loss of Harris.
He also felt five-eighth Mitch Souter, who moved to hooker, was one of their best.
"It's all about being competitive in all that we do and wanting to win at training and all games," Barnes said.
"But to be honest it's not a bad thing for us because we've been talking a lot about playing the style of football that we want to and we really haven't been able to do that yet.
"Maybe the loss is a catalyst for a little bit of learning around how we actually want to play.
"And if we don't, the sides here are good enough to beat us."
