Icon Water has been supporting this year's Floriade by providing recycled water for the community gardens throughout winter.
To qualify for the competition, an image must fit into one of three themes:
- Water - our most precious resource;
- Water - the environment and/or animals; or
- Floriade blooms in Canberra.

An expert panel will select the overall winner from 30 shortlisted entries.
The images of the 30 finalists will be shared on the Icon Water Instagram account for the public to decide the people's choice winner.
There are other category winners and the overall prize pool is $5000.
Icon Water's general manager customer engagement Davina McCormick said entries opened on Saturday.
"This is a great opportunity, as we head into the warmer months, to ensure Canberrans are focused on the value of water and protecting this precious resource," Ms McCormick said.
