ACT Policing are investigating after a driver was seen allegedly assaulted a passenger in a white 4WD ute on Sunday, September 6.
Police said they received several reports of the incident in Gungahlin and, after speaking with people, believed there were more witnesses yet to come forward.
The car was seen on Hibberson Street about 4.10pm, in the Gungahlin Marketplace car park about 4.15pm, Burdekin Ave about 4.20pm, and at the intersection of Unaipon Avenue and Pemulwuy Street a short time later.
Witnesses are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website, and quote reference 6625025. Information can be provided anonymously.
