The slow-starting Tigers steamrolled Tuggeranong by 110 points while Eastlake produced a stirring final quarter to secure a 37-point away win over Belconnen, who must now square off against Ainslie in an elimination final next weekend.
Belconnen led the competition just a fortnight ago, but two hefty losses since have jeopardised their premiership aspirations at the business end of the season.
The Magpies were on the ropes at quarter time as Eastlake raced to a six-goal lead, but the home side leveled things up before the Demons booted a go-ahead goal on the three-quarter time siren.
Joe Kerin led the way in the final term, booting a pair of goals after spraying four shots earlier on in the match.
"It was a bit disappointing kicking those four points in the first quarter but I was glad I kicked a couple towards the end to get the boys back up and about," Kerin said.
"They [Queanbeyan] are at their home deck next week which will be a big challenge but we look forward to going out there and hopefully rolling them."
The winner of next week's blockbuster between Queanbeyan and Eastlake receives a saloon passage into the grand final.
"We'll play them anywhere, I don't care whether it's Queanbeyan, Footy Park or Manuka, it doesn't matter," Eastlake coach John Harper said.
"Anyone can win it I reckon, there's no side putting their hand up saying they're going to be premiers. From where we stand, we're in it as much as anybody else.
"We've got a few sore boys but I think everybody's sore in the condensed season, the way it is."
Harper said his side's six-goal final quarter blitz on Saturday had laid the platform for a strong finals campaign.
"I knew there was probably a little bit of doubt in our mind and the fact our blokes were able to compose themselves at the end, kick the goals when they had to, it shows that we can be a good side," Harper said.
"It's that belief that we [can] actually compete with some of these sides that have been up the top for a couple of years."
Belconnen captain James Bennett backed his side to bounce back against Ainslie next week.
"We've always played well against Ainslie in the first week of finals so we're looking forward to that challenge," Bennett said.
"We showed some good footy in the second and third quarters. We went away from things that were successful for us in that last quarter so pretty disappointing finish from where we fought back to.
"I think today was a big positive step for us in the way we want to play and the way we trained during the week was really good as well."
