Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has been slapped with a suspended $10,000 fine by the NRL, and issued a stern warning by chief Andrew Abdo after his post match comments in Sunday's scrappy win over the New Zealand Warriors.
Stuart angrily threw a water bottle out of the coach's box after Jack Wighton was sin-binned in the first half for being offside, and said post-match that he and NRL head of football Graham Annesley were "planets apart" when it came to rugby league.
The NRL took issue with Stuart's reaction to Wighton's dismissal by referee Chris Sutton. The Raiders will not be appealing the breach notice.
"The Notice alleges Stuart failed to comply with the game's Code of Conduct at Sunday's match against the New Zealand Warriors when he threw a water bottle, with force, out of the coach's box during the match," an NRL statement said.

Abdo also issued a caution to Stuart following his fiery press conference after full time.
"Any public comments in media conferences which cross the line into questioning the competence, professionalism or integrity of our match officials are treated very seriously by the NRL and we make no apologies for that," Abdo said.
"On this occasion, Ricky's comments went very close to crossing that line and he has been warned concerning that. The NRL makes many processes available to head coaches to discuss on-field matters in a way which preserves the respect due to everyone who works in our game.
"I have spoken directly with Ricky about this matter and I thank him for his cooperation. I took into account the leadership Ricky showed during his post-match commentary after last year's grand final when determining a penalty."
Stuart also spoke with Annesley to discuss his frustrations, which he aired following Sunday's scrappy 26-14 win over the Warriors.
"Jack Wighton's sin bin, would've that been the same decision if it was a semi-final? I hope not because he wasn't offside, you can't make that error" Stuart said after the match.
"In regards to rugby league, Graham Annesley and myself, we are planets apart."
