And this time he's gone that one step further in Raiders fandom.
Wanniassa baker Quan Nguyen has his green Raiders bread back on the shelves as the team contests the finals series, but this time with a twist.
This year, Mr Nguyen is also baking blocks of green Raiders bread with the names of the players on the side, so fans can pick their favourite.
Maybe a block of Whitehead? Or a loaf of Papalii?
Perfect with a sausage for a barbecue as the Raiders face the Cronulla Sharks in Saturday's elimination final in Canberra, the game kicking off at 5.40pm.
And it's not just Canberrans wanting a slice of the action.
Mr Nguyen said he had requests for the green bread from as far afield as Western Australia.
"I already delivered it, posted it off," he said.
"And some to Cootamundra yesterday.
"They just love the bread and can't get it there so I send it to them, pretty good."
The names on the bread were a chance to celebrate something happier after a torrid year.
"This is more special, 2020. What a year, hey?" he said.
"We've got to do something and put a smile on people's face.
"People are loving it this year. I've had a lot of good reactions."
The green bread was a hit last year when the Raiders charged to the grand final, just pipped at the post by the Roosters.
Mr Nguyen said the loaves flew off the shelves but he had no idea how many he sold.
"Oh, I lost count. A lot," he said.
"But this year, honestly, a lot of people are ringing up to place their order already."
Mr Nguyen said it was good to have something to celebrate after all that 2020 had thrown at Canberrans, from bushfires to hailstorms to COVID-19.
His business, at the Wanniassa shops, was still going strong, despite all the challenges.
"We get a lot of support from the community and we survived, which is good," he said.
One little customer getting his Raiders bread on Wednesday was four-year-old Samuel Dewar of Mawson.
He had to get a loaf of Croker, his favourite player the Raiders captain Jarrod Croker.
Samuel, who is a Raiders member and veteran of game day, remembered his most recent game watching the Green Machine beat the Warriors at home and Croker score a try.
He made sure to get an extra loaf of Raiders green bread to share with a fellow Raiders fan at family day care in Gilmore.
They, along with all Raiders fans, will be hoping the Green Machine can take out the premiership from outside a top-four finish.
Oh, and the green bread is on the shelves by 8am.
