Intuition will jump from barrier 10, just outside of Matthew Dale's Man Of Peace who received gate nine.
Defending champion Handle The Truth, meanwhile, will need plenty of luck in running after copping barrier 13 for local trainer Keith Dryden.
Raging favourite It's Me drew a much more palatable barrier 7, and was listed a $2.20 chance late on Wednesday afternoon while second pick Front Page ($4.60) drew gate eight.

Meanwhile, Liz Clarke was elected to the Canberra Racing Club committee on Tuesday night, replacing outgoing board member Paul Meiklejohn who has served since May 2012.
Clarke has been a member of the CRC since 2013, and is the head of ACT Property Group after a stint as CEO of Venues Canberra.
"Liz's skills and experience will be an enormous asset to the club," chairman Ian Mackay said.
Lauren Bywaters was also elected to the committee, while Les Boag, Tim Olive and Stephen Heppenstall were all retained their positions.
