The wet weather will begin Friday with a 90 per cent chance of showers and up to 20mm of rainfall possible. There's also a chance of a storm. It is expected to reach a maximum temperature of 17 degrees.
Thunderstorms are also likely to develop on Saturday afternoon and evening. There's an 80 per cent chance of rain, but this time it's just up 3mm possible. Winds are expected to reach 25-35km/h. The day is forecast to have a top of 22
Sunday is likely to have similar conditions, with a maximum forecast temperature of 21. There is a 80 per cent chance of rain with rainfall to possibly hit 1-3mm. Thunderstorms are likely to form in the morning and afternoon and winds are expected to reach 15-20km/h.
From Monday conditions will become milder. Monday is expected to be partially cloudy, and is likely to reach a top of 19, a minimum of 7, and there is a 40 per cent chance of showers.
Clouds will likely come over Canberra on Tuesday, which has a slight chance of rain, a top of 20, a low of 9 and some light winds.
It is expected to warm further on Wednesday, where there is a forecast top of 23 and a low of 8 and it's set to be partially cloudy with light winds.
The wet weather is forecast to return on Thursday, when there is a 70 per cent chance of rain and possible 6mm will fall. The maximum forecasted temperature is 23 and the minimum is 8. Winds are expected to reach 15-20km/h.
