But ANU captain Shelley Watson has already set her sights on four in a row.
Tuggeranong took the lead through Rebecca Lee, before ANU's Kelby Pointon - in her 100th game - pegged it back.
That sent it to a penalty shoot-out where ANU prevailed 4-2 at Lyneham on Saturday night - the third time in a row they've beaten Tuggeranong that way in a decider.
Watson said they were always confident going into the shoot-out because of their goalkeeper.
"We knew we were going to win the shoot-out. We're just that good and we've got Peta Sutherland," she said.
"I don't think anyone's retiring - only if someone has a baby, but otherwise everyone's playing on - so hopefully we'll go for four."

Watson was named best-on-ground in the grand final - although she's not sure how.
She said she just "runs around like a headless chook" in the midfield and missed a penalty stroke.
"I missed a stroke so I don't know how I got that. I must've played well other than that," Watson said.
"I just run around like a headless chook."
She said while some of the other clubs had made progress in 2020 she thought the rivalry with Tuggeranong would continue into next year as well.
"I'd say so. The comp was pretty good this year," Watson said.
"Some of the teams that haven't made semis before made it, which was really nice.
"It has been us and Tuggeranong in the one and two positions the last few years."
