The ACT has recorded its sixth road fatality this year with the death of a teenage girl after a single vehicle collision in Wanniassa at the weekend.

The fatal crash occurred at 1.50am on Saturday when a single vehicle left the road on Longmore Crescent in Wanniassa.
The teenage girl, a passenger in the car, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries while the driver and two other passengers in the car were transported for assessment and later released.
As the condition of the girl worsened during the weekend, police from the Collision Investigation and Reconstruction team returned to the scene on Sunday and made further assessments.
The ACT recorded six road fatalities for the full calendar year of 2019.
