The annual Christmas concert will be performed in front of a reduced crowd of 2000 people this year at Stage 88 on December 12, with social distancing measures in place.
Tickets for the event were made available on Wednesday. While the event is normally free to the public, tickets for the performance this year will be priced at $12.50. Organisers of the concert, the Woden Valley Youth Choir, said on social media the priced tickets were due to the additional requirements of this year's event.
"We have had to sell tickets at a minimum cost this year to help with our COVID-safe requirements and also cover the extra infrastructure we need," the choir said on Facebook.
The carols will be livestreamed over Facebook by ABC Radio Canberra.
Canberra singer and The Voice finalist Lucy Sugerman has also been announced as one of this year's performers.
