But they might be getting their jerseys in a knot for nothing.
The Raiders have started pre-sale on three jerseys for next season, with the already super-popular "heritage" jersey a throwback to the 1994 premiership season kit following the return of Canberra Milk as the major sponsor.
It's the one with the traditional lime green similar to what the Green Machine wore during their golden era.
There's also the home jersey - with a pale lime green chest and navy blue shoulders - as well as the "away" - grey chest with navy shoulders - although the home and away monikers were largely arbitrary.

The home and away jerseys have had mixed reactions on social media.
"Hate the home and away jerseys. The heritage jersey should be what we wear every game until we need an alternative jersey against the Bunnies," one fan said on Facebook.
The Raiders said pre-sale numbers were good for all three strips and emphasised just because it was called the home jersey, didn't mean they would be wearing it for all home games.
There's the potential they could wear the heritage jersey for most of their 2021 matches - even away games.
No decisions had been made on what jerseys would be worn when.
There could also be several one-off jerseys - like an Indigenous jersey or a charity jersey - throughout the season.
"Feedback for all three jerseys has been positive and they're all selling really well in our pre-sale," a Raiders spokesperson said on Tuesday.
"We have never made any indication how many times we'll wear each jersey next year, but they will all make an appearance during the season.
"And we're really excited to run out in all three next year."
