Check in CBR has been rebranded in the Northern Territory as the Territory Check In app, using the same platform as the $110,00 app created by ACT Health.

ACT Health developed the app for the NT and will continue to give support to maintain it.

Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith said the government would share ideas and programs to protect Canberrans from COVID-19 with other jurisdictions.

"The Check In CBR app was designed from the ground up by the digital team in ACT Health. Throughout the pandemic, this team has responded quickly and effectively to the challenges presented by the virus," she said.

"The adoption of this app by the Northern Territory is a real testament to the team's skills, expertise and innovative approach.

The Check In CBR app has been downloaded 68,400 times and is used by 2000 venues.

All data is stored directly with ACT Health for 28 days from check in and then deleted if not required for contact tracing purposes.
