The composer and first-time nominee received the gong in the categories of Best Music for a Mini-Series or Telemovie and Best Television Theme on Tuesday for the Netflix smash hit series Unorthodox.
The Netflix show was inspired by Deborah Feldman's 2012 autobiography Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots and was the first series of its kind to be primarily in Yiddish.

Tickets announced
They are the most famous sunflowers in the world - and they are on their way to Canberra in March.
Tickets have been released for the exclusive Canberra season of Botticelli to Van Gogh: Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London.
Travelling from the National Gallery, London, the exhibition will open at the National Gallery of Australia on March 5. Audiences can see first-hand many of the works that have defined western art history, including Van Gogh's much-loved Sunflowers, in the COVID-safe environment of Australia's national capital.
Botticelli to Van Gogh: Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London opens at the National Gallery of Australia on March 5 and runs until June 14, 2021. To book a timed ticket go to nga.gov.au.

An exhibition of 56 iconic photographs and stories from the outback, bush and coast, will open at the National Museum of Australia, as part of an unprecedented partnership with Australian Geographic.
A Portrait of Australia: Stories through the lens of Australian Geographic features a stunning display of large-format photographic prints and unites the expertise of Australian Geographic's acclaimed photographers and the National Museum's interpretive storytelling experience.

Love Lockdown
Omar Musa presents his latest exhibition, Love Lockdown, at Sancho's Dirty Laundry on Saturday from 3pm.
Love Lockdown is an exhibition of woodcuts by Omar Musa, exploring fantasies, nightmares, love and madness in the time of COVID. Saturday's event includes a live performance by Carolina Gasolina and Musa, free laksa by KYO Coffee Project, a pop-up drink bar by Braddon Brew and limited merch collaboration by Sancho's Dirty Laundry and Musa.
The Vertical Life Film Tour
The new film tour that focuses on climbing is coming to Canberra this weekend.
The tour has been created and conceived by the team behind Vertical Life Magazine and includes four films.
Out of the Blue is an original independent film that combines climbing, slacklining and circus arts in a truly unique and visually stunning film.
A Thousand Ways to Kiss The Ground explores the paradox of grief within climbing, an activity sought out for the joy, but one that also exposes individuals to risk and the potential for tremendous grief.
Valhalla is a documentary about the search for something unique in a remote place.
Lucy Stirling: Olympic Dream is a short film by Australian filmmaker Matt Raimondo that follows Lucy as she sets her sights on the Olympic Dream.

Future Faces
Are you 15 to 25 years old, and have something to say about Canberra life?
Join Future Faces, a two-day workshop remaking the Woden streetscape with a giant photo-mural showing what young people think about the city.
Together with artist Kate Matthews and PhotoAccess, you'll share ideas, create street art and celebrate ACT Youth Week 2020.
Young people of all backgrounds are welcome, and you don't need any experience in art or activism.

A Musical Celebration
Canberra's premier youth orchestra the Canberra Youth Orchestra perform in a Musical Celebration.
Conducted by Rowan Harvey Martin, the concert will feature concertos by four of orchestra's talented young musicians - Zoe Loxley-Slump on oboe, Mila Haydon on violin, James Monro on cello and Ella Borgo on tuba, as well as wind, string and brass ensembles.
Featuring Anton Wurzer on the piano accordion performing alongside the Canberra Youth Orchestra Brass Ensemble.

Canberra Comedy Festival Gala
After being postponed in March, the Canberra Comedy Festival just couldn't wait until next year to bring their flagship event to the stage.
The two-hour showcase will feature some of the best comedians that they can lay their hands on, including some Aussie favourites and some hand-picked newcomers.
After the year that was 2020, the festival is ready to inject some laughter back into the capital.
