The former Cincinnati Reds batter played with Canberra a decade ago and is considered one of the best power-hitters in ABL history, hitting 38 regular-season homers across his Australian career.
He returns to Narrabundah Ballpark after four seasons with the Brisbane Bandits, who have also offered development players Jay Myers, Dermot Fritsch, and Brandan Bidois.
The German-born outfielder has played 180 matches and averages .246 with 129 RBIs.
The Cavalry will launch their season against the Perth Heat on Friday, but will be without key imports Zach Wilson, Mikey Reynolds, Shawn Morimando, Samad Taylor and Chavez Young.
