Police were told the woman appeared to be experiencing symptoms but declined to be tested and left the hospital.
Police went to a Sanctuary Point home and directed the 37-year-old woman and three other occupants to self-isolate.
The woman was issued a $1000 fine for failing to comply with requirement of public health order.
