Sitting on 1500sqm, the property is located at 90 William James Drive, Mount Kembla.
Geoff Walters and wife Vicki built the home eight years ago, which was designed by Wollongong architect Peter Rasa.
Mr Walters described it as a "sensational, resort-style" property, due to its views, location and features.
"We had this vision of the house we wanted to build," Mr Walters said. "We wanted a house up in this area, because the national park's not far away and it's got great views.
"We wanted a big garage space underneath it because we had a collection of racing cars. We also wanted a pool and an entertainment area.
"You're also not far from Mount Kembla Hotel if you want to go out for dinner."
The house includes four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.
The home also features free-flowing dual levels with three separate living areas, sweeping views to the escarpment, and alfresco entertaining centred on the podium-style heated pool and spa.
Other features include floor-to-ceiling glass feature walls, a formal zone with cathedral ceiling, marble floors and gas fire, and ducted air, sleek second kitchen/bar, and secure garaging for nine cars.
The semi-retired Mr Walters said they were selling so they could move to an acreage property, most likely in the Picton area or the Southern Highlands.
Mrs Walters said due to its size, the home would likely be well-suited to a family.
"We'll be sad to leave it, but we're moving on to the next stage of our lives," she said. "It's a beautiful house that's like a resort, and it's served our purpose.
"We just decided we wouldn't mind an acreage, and decided to do it now."
Selling agent, Daniel Gutierrez from Blaq Real Estate said the home was a quality build, with its standout features including beautiful vistas overlooking rolling hills and escarpment.
