Been to the op-shop lately? Found a bargain?
Great feeling isn't it.
I've always wondered what it's like to work for the charities that run the op-shop, mostly to see what wonderful, bizarre and just plain wrong things get donated.
This week, The Area News went to find out.
And it sounds just as weird and wonderful as I imagined.
James Cunningham has been the operator of Griffith Secondhand Treasures, in NSW's Riverina, since it opened in 2018.
He told The Area News' Monty Jacka dozens of rare and interesting pieces go through the store each year, the most memorable of which was a kerosene-powered navigation lantern from a World War II ship.
And he's seen it all: from a vintage Japanese talking robot, to a set of Victorian Era carpet bowls, and a still-boxed 'Pokemon Edition' Nintendo 46 console.
At the Salvation Army, volunteers sift through hundreds of donated items each day.
And they've sorted and priced dozens of eccentric pieces too.
From beautiful $800 dresses still sporting their original price tags, to things that have had to be turned over to the police.
They've seen it all.
You might remember that Carrie Bradshaw's wedding shoes - that is a pair of Manolo Blahnik designer heels for those not in the know - were recently found by a savvy Canberra op-shopper.
For a steal at $35 too - although certainly at the pricey end for the avid op-shopper.
So if you've got something you aren't using anymore, and it's in good nick, drop it off at your local op-shop, and they'll be able to turn it into much-needed funds for somebody in need.
Or, if you've got some free time, pop your hand up and volunteer - then you'll get to see the goods first-hand too!
