The 17 days of celebration will kick off from February 26 to March 14, and events will still be free to attend.
As always, Illuminations will light up the National Portrait Gallery, National Library, National Gallery of Australia, Parliament House, Old Parliament House and Questacon. The projections, along with the installations will not need to be registered for, although attendees are encouraged to use the Check In CBR app.

The Enlighten Festival will also bring together a variety of exciting events including the Lights! Canberra! Action!, Symphony in the Park and Canberra Day. Registrations will be required for these events and are now open.
The popular Enlighten Alley and Bentspoke Beer Garden will also return, offering local food and beverages. Registrations will be also be required for timed sessions at each location.
Registrations are also open for the Canberra Balloon Spectacular and are required for those attending the launch site but not for people who choose to watch the hot air balloons from other parts of the capital.
The capital's major attractions will also open their doors to host an array of exclusive after-dark events.
Tickets for these events will go on sale later this month.
The Night Noodle Markets have been cancelled for the 2021 festival due to COVID restrictions.
