Canberra golfer Josh Armstrong has carried his good form into the Dubbo Open and sits just five shots off the lead going into the final round. Fresh from his first professional win in the Murray Open last week, Armstrong shot a four-under 68 in the opening round on Saturday to sit in a tie for seventh - behind leader Jordan Widdicombe. His fellow Canberran Matt Millar was five-under in a tie for fourth. Armstrong's Murray Open win in Corowa earned him a spot in the NSW Open at his home club of Concord, which starts March 25. He'll also be in action at the Queanbeyan Open, starting Wednesday.
