ACT Health confirmed all travel restrictions with Victoria would be removed from 11.59pm Friday, which had required anyone who visited a tier-1 exposure site in the state to quarantine in Canberra.

"Although from tonight there will no longer be travel restrictions in place, it is important that prior to travel people check the latest health and travel advice and are prepared that this can change at short notice," ACT Health said in a statement.

ACT Health said anyone who had recently been to Victoria should monitor the state's health website and follow advice if they attended a tier-2 or 3 exposure site.

Meanwhile, restrictions have been imposed on people entering Canberra from Auckland.

Returning travellers in the ACT who have been in the New Zealand city on or after February 20 must get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.

This is not apply to people who have transited through Auckland Airport.

If a person has been to an identified area of interest in New Zealand, they must get tested and quarantine for 14 days since they were at that location.

"Travellers from New Zealand should check the New Zealand Ministry of Health website to keep up to date with any new exposure sites," ACT Health said.

"They should also continue monitoring themselves very closely for symptoms of COVID-19 and get retested if they develop any symptoms, no matter how mild."

Victoria reported two new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 on Friday but both people were contact of previously reported cases and have been in quarantine while infectious.

The ACT announced it would welcome its fifth repatriation flight on Monday evening, with 150 to 180 returning Australians expected to board the flight from Singapore.

There have been 778 vaccinations administered in the ACT. This number does not include aged and disability care residents and staff as this part of the roll out is managed by the federal government.
