Young tweaked it in the final 10 minutes of the Raiders' 12-10 victory over Cronulla at Kogarah Park on Sunday.
An all-in scuffle between the teams ensued, with concerned Raiders players - including Curtis Scott - rushing in to defend Young after they felt he'd been taunted.
Scott was penalised for charging in and knocking over Cronulla winger Ronaldo Mulitalo, who was bent over talking to Young.
The Raiders centre vowed to continue defending his teammates.
Young didn't need scans on Monday and was in the mix to face the Warriors at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.
He had a similar injury last year before he returned from suspension.
Young's had an impressive start to the season, scoring two tries in the opening two games.
If he's not ready for the Warriors, the Raiders have New Zealand international Corey Harawira-Naera returning from suspension.
"It's alright mate. It was probably a bit of a scare more than anything," Young said.
"Just last year I did a similar thing at training and probably cautious that it was that and hopefully it's not.
"It's probably just a confidence thing on it. Just wanted to get through the last little bit and have it in my head that I can still play.
"It should be alright mate."

Off the back of the penalty against Scott, Sharks centre Josh Dugan was awarded a controversial try that left players scratching their head over the NRL bunker's decision.
Scott said he was simply backing up the wounded Young.
"I was just looking after a teammate. He was down injured and it looked like he was copping a mouthful when he was on the ground," he said.
"I'm always going to support my teammates. It's footy. We shook hands after the game and it's just part of the game."
