Good news LEGO lovers - a store dedicated to everybody's favourite building brick is opening in Canberra.
LEGO Australia and New Zealand and store operator Alquemie Group announced on Monday that the capital's first LEGO Certified Store will open at the Canberra Centre in the coming months.
"With one of the most loyal and growing communities of brick fans in the country, Canberra has been on our radar for some time as an ideal venue for a new LEGO Certified Store," Alquemie Group executive chairman Richard Facioni said.
"We look forward to proudly unveiling an inspiring new retail experience for Canberra which showcases the creative potential of the world-famous LEGO brick."
LEGO stores are known for their next-level retail experiences, with each store hosting custom brick-built features. At 250sqm in size, Canberra's first store will be no different.
So what can the capital expect from its first LEGO store?
The big drawcard will be a large, wall-mounted mosaic and a world-first, yet-to-be-announced 3D model of a local landmark made by the Southern Hemisphere's only LEGO certified professional, Ryan "Brickman" McNaught.
There will also be a Pick a Brick Wall - where you can fill a cup with your choice of LEGO bricks and elements - and a Build a Minifigure Tower - which will allow people to mix and match from a wide selection of heads, hair, tops, bottoms and accessories to create a bespoke Minifigure.
There will also be a Digital Box where people to scan almost any LEGO boxed set and watch it come to life in 3D on a wall-mounted screen.
