The devastated family of a man who died in a Melbourne drive-by shooting say they forgive his killers and only want to know what happened.

Relatives of Ikenasio Tuivasa, known as Sio, have joined a Victoria Police appeal for information about the February 27 shooting.
Police think the father of five children, all aged under 11, might have been an innocent victim of a feud between bikies.
The 33-year-old died and a 24-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the drive-by shooting outside the All Star lounge and pool hall on Westwood Drive at Ravenhall, in Melbourne's west, just before midnight on February 27.
Victoria Police can find no motive for the crime and they have released images of the ute believed to be involved in the shooting.
Mr Tuivasa's father, sister, cousin and partner, who asked not to be named, have tearfully pleaded for anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
"He is a good, good son of mine," his father said at a police media conference on Tuesday morning.
"I already forgive and forget, but ... I want to see who did this.
"Sio is gone, but I want to ask ... 'who saw this, please, if you know anything about the killer, why don't you come forward?'"
His partner said Mr Tuivasa was a devoted father and loved by many.
"Sio never got to say goodbye, he didn't deserved to be killed this way," she said.
"We just want answers."
Detective Inspector Tim Day said police have found no motive for the shooting, but they understand there was an altercation at the same venue the night before involving outlaw motorcycle gang members.
"The type of characters running around with OMCGs (outlaw motorcycle gangs) are not rocket scientists," he said.
"It's not outside the realms of possibility that our two victims were innocent parties in the rivalry between OMCG groups, that have either mucked it up ... or fired indiscriminately into the crowd."
Mr Day said police also knew the pool hall was frequented by Hells Angels and Comanchero members.
Mr Tuivasa was in a group that including two younger brothers, cousins and friends outside the venue when a Toyota Hilux SR5 ute pulled up nearby.
According to police, the passenger called out to Mr Tuivasa's group before firing at them.
The driver and passenger appeared to be Pacific Islanders and it's believed the passenger spoke Tongan.
Mr Day said police also knew the pool hall was frequented by Hells Angels and Comanchero members.
He added the shooting also might not have any connection to outlaw motorcycle gangs.
Police believe the ute involved in the shooting was a dark grey 2017 Toyota Hilux SR5 dual-cab ute, with a chrome roll bar on the rear tray and stock wheels.
They do not believe the ute was stolen.
