But the ACT Brumbies' third showdown with the Queensland Reds this year may well be the finest as the two sides compete for the Super Rugby AU title.
The Brumbies have surrendered leads to drop two games to the Reds this season, both by two points. Recent history suggests the final 20 minutes will define Saturday's decider at Lang Park.
Dan McKellar's men have scored 24 first half tries to the Reds' 15 this season, while Queensland have scored 18 to the Brumbies' 15 in the second half.
The Reds have scored 13 of their 33 tries and conceded just three in the fourth quarter of games this year - their best 20-minute period in both facets.
MORE RUGBY UNION
For the Brumbies, that final period is statistically their worst - scoring seven of their 39 and conceding eight of 15 in the fourth quarter of games.
But Brumbies playmaker Noah Lolesio says the reigning champions can reverse those fortunes by doing one simple thing: "honestly just stick to our game".
"We don't have to do anything out of the ordinary. If everyone just does their job in the team, hopefully we can pick the right options off that," Lolesio said.
"Obviously they're very good defensively in their own 22, actually in all areas they're a pretty good defensive team.
"We've got to just really stay disciplined in our structure and shape, and hopefully we can pick the right options."
