Hill withstood immense pressure from rival Harri Jones to win two tense races over the weekend at Tailem Bend, sending him top of the Porsche Carrera Cup standings.
"It felt great to get the win, on Saturday we got a bit lucky, there was a bit of carnage in the first race and some of my competitors were taken out and it was a little bit of a Bradbury moment," Hill said.
"We knew we had a good car so once we were starting off poll on Sunday it was all about trying to stay in front.
"I was never more than two or three car lengths in front of second. After 45 minutes we had one lap remaining that was winner takes all basically and I came under a bit of fire but managed to keep them all behind me."
The ex-Radford College student, whose team is a family operation much smaller than some of his competitors, was happy he could win for his mum on Mother's Day.

"It was cool that we were all able to celebrate all together on Mother's Day and that she was there the whole weekend," Hill said.
"She's the glue of the team, she keeps us organised, keeps us fed and watered so Mum's the real superstar of the team."
