Her signing with the club was announced late last month but the goal-scoring machine is yet to register herself any playing minutes with the side.
Following on from their 1-0 loss to West Canberra Wanderers FC, the striker would have been a welcomed addition on the weekend.
However, the W-League's number one goal scorer was sidelined for Canberra United's semi-final loss to Sydney FC due to a quad injury and was not expected to be back playing until the end of May.
So far the team has scored 13 goals in six matches and Heyman will look to add to this tally when she takes the field.
Gungahlin head coach Diego Iglesias said no date had been set for her club debut, as they were waiting for her body to be ready to play.
"In a few weeks, hopefully, but we'll just see there's no rush," he said about her return.
"She's got to get right physically and like I said it's a long season but I don't want to push Michelle and put her in there too early."
