The Capitals will announce their third signing on Thursday morning, with Wilson's signature following on from that of Kelsey Griffin and Mikaela Ruef.
Wilson was a key member of the Capitals' 2018-19 championship winning team, before rejoining the Bendigo Spirit and ultimately stepping away from the game after giving birth to Teddy.
"I really enjoyed my season in Canberra so the decision to come back was an easy one," Wilson said.
"I'm really excited to get back on court and help the Caps try to win another championship. I've been working out here in Bendigo and my body feels great after the year off."

Capitals coach Paul Goriss was excited to see Kelly and Griffin resuming their on-court partnership.
"It's great to have one of our championship guards returning to Canberra," Goriss said.
"Kelly not only brings championship experience and leadership, but she brings basketball IQ, passing ability, vision and a history of winning chemistry with Kelsey."
