Now Kelly Wilson has another significant milestone on the horizon - her 400th WNBL game.
Wilson's last game in the WNBL was her 395th, breaking the previous record of 394 held by former Canberra Capital's guard Jessica Bibby.
But becoming the first player to hit 400 wasn't part of her decision to come back to the WNBL.
"It just makes me feel old, which is probably a bit of an indication of where I'm at," Wilson said.
"It's not about how many games I played if I feel like I can still contribute and the fact that I'm still excited about playing and I want to be involved.
"I want to help the Caps out and be part of the culture that they've created over the past few years."
"It's gone so fast, Teddy was born in February, so he's four months old," Wilson said.
"He's just growing. Being new parents is all exciting, and it's been wonderful."
Wilson admitted she tried to stay active during her pregnancy, but it was nothing compared to her regular regime. Now the point guard can't wait to return to the court wearing a Capitals singlet for the first time since winning the 2018-19 championship.

"Yeah, I love a good preseason, I'm not going to lie, training and preseason, it's probably not the norm, but it's something that I enjoy," Wilson said.
"The challenge of being ready to play in a league like this and being competitive, and trying to be in the best shape possible."
In the meantime, Wilson, husband Michael and Teddy will use the next few months to move back to Canberra.
"My husband's been working from home for the past two years," Wilson said.
"He's extremely supportive, so for us to be able to come up and for the Caps to be supportive of the fact that we've got a young baby has been awesome."
Wilson is the third Capitals player to sign on for this season, joining Kelsey Griffin and Mikaela Ruef, and coach Paul Goriss expected to announce more additions to his roster in the coming weeks.
"From a leadership perspective and from the grunt, the work ethic, and the intangibles that Kelsey and Kelly bring, the backbone of our team is there," Goriss said.
"Now it's just putting in those critical pieces and the role pieces to play that."
