1. San Cisco
Last year saw San Cisco release their fourth studio album, Between You and Me. Now the Fremantle trio gets to - finally - take it on the road, in their first national tour since 2019. Between You and Me delivers the hooky and sweet pop melodies the three-piece have become renown for with the highlight being the unashamedly fun track, Messages. It also features lead singles When I Dream, Skin, festival anthem Reasons and On The Line. Friday, 8pm. UC Refectory. Tickets are $56.36 from Moshtix.
2. Kiss Me, Kate
The Broadway hit musical written by Bella and Samuel Spewack with music and lyrics by the brilliant Cole Porter, Kiss Me, Kate is on stage this weekend. The show opens as a theatre company prepares a musical version of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. But the drama doesn't keep to the stage as conflict erupts between cast and crew members. Friday, 8pm, Saturday, 2pm and 8pm and Sunday, 2pm. Continues until June 27. The Q. 3. A Pooch Affair
Treat your four-legged friend to a dog's day out at A Pooch Affair this weekend. The event has a doggie market with dog food options and treats, kennels, luxury beds, photographers, collars, leads, bandanas, clothing, toys, pet-sitting services, daycare and more. There are also dog sport demonstrations, a best-dressed competition with a barnyard theme and a doggie diner and play area. There will also be stalls for animal rescue groups, pet services and not for profit community groups. Saturday, 10am to 3pm. Exhibition Park in Canberra. Tickets are $10 from Trybooking. Kids under 10 are free.

4. Winter High Tea
Treat yourself to a high tea at the Pialligo Estate. Enjoy the view and a spread of decadent cakes, mini pastries, finger sandwiches, scones and more, all of which will be inspired by fresh winter flavours. 5. Canberra Roller Derby League
After a nail-biting 16-point win for the Red Bellied Black Hearts over the Black 'n' Blue Belles last month, Canberra Roller Derby League is back for round two, with the Brindabelters taking on the Surly Griffins. In a show of support for the LGBTIQ+ community this Pride Month, Canberra Roller Derby League will have LGBTIQ+ aligned charities in attendance taking donations and raising awareness within the community. Saturday, 6pm with the first whistle at 6.30pm. Southern Cross Stadium. Tickets are $17.38 from Moshtix. Kids under five get in free.
