Fresh off a return to the winners' circle, coach Ricky Stuart has named an unchanged side to take on the eighth-placed St George-Illawarra Dragons this weekend.
Second-rower Corey Harawira-Naera said the 38-16 win over the Brisbane Broncos at Canberra Stadium had created plenty of buzz around Raiders HQ this week, as they look to continue their winning momentum in Wollongong.
"We've got a pretty good draw coming up with us and we've targeted obviously the next few games to ... try and sneak back into the top eight and be in contention for that in the run home to finals," he said. "We ticked that game off and now we've got Dragons this week, which is another game we want to tick off as well."
The 10th-placed Raiders are equal on points with the Dragons and can replace them in the top eight with victory.
MORE IN RAIDERS:
But winger Jordan Rapana expected the Dragons to come out firing after their upset loss to the bottom-placed Bulldogs on Monday.
"They'll be very fired up, I guess, and a big job to do up there in Wollongong, they're always tough to play there," he said.
Rapana praised the work of young guns Matt Timoko (centre) and Bailey Simonsson (fullback) in helping to set up the win against the Broncos.
"He is a wonderful player Matty and you [saw] on the weekend how talented he is, and how strong he is especially coming out of our end of the half," he said.
"To be honest, I thought the whole back five [did] a really good job of helping the middles get out of our half and we were able to play a lot of football down in the Broncos' half, so that helped massively.
"It just shows the depth that we have and the quality of young boys that are coming through, pushing for spots, Bailey absolutely killed it there. I'm looking forward to see how he goes again this week."
Veteran forward Ryan James has been named on the Raiders' extended bench after serving a one-game suspension.
Dragons star Zac Lomax (thumb) could return from injury after being named in the reserves in jersey No.21.
The Raiders have won five of their last six games in Wollongong, including last year's 37-8 thumping of the Dragons.
Centre Sebastian Kris echoed the same notions of his teammates, and said he took plenty of confidence out of the side's win.
"We just want to build from that and go in strong for the back end of the year."
