A 42 year-old Macgregor man has been charged following a report of burnout activity early on Sunday morning.

Police were called to De Gruchy Place in the early hours, following reports from a member of the public of a Ford Falcon doing burnouts.
According to police, officers stopped the driver of the grey Ford Falcon sedan, who later returned a positive alcohol screening.
The man was taken to the city police station, where police said he returned an alcohol breath test reading of .093.
He has been charged with drink driving, driving while disqualified, improper use of a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving an uninsured vehicle.
The man received bail and will attend the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
