The pair are in a stable condition and fire crews have extinguished the blaze which occurred at a house on Ratcliffe Crescent.
Emergency services have now left the scene and have made the area safe.
Ratcliffe Crescent has now been reopened at both intersections of Cuscaden Crescent.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the room of origin. However, the cause of the fire is still being determined.
The cause of the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
ACT Fire and Rescue have requested the public to take care will travelling through the area.
