Ground closures have posed another headache for Capital Football officials, who will push on with July's Kanga Cup despite all Sydney residents being banned from entering the ACT unless they have an exemption as of 4pm on Friday.
Capital Football will reassess when the seven day stay at home order for Sydney is over.
On the Premier League front, Belconnen coach Fabian Miceli is expecting Cooma to be a tough opponent.
"They're a really good side, they've got quality players all over the park. They will test us but I do believe in my squad very much and I believe that we can get the three points," Miceli said
Miceli has marked Nikolas Popovich, Antoni Timotheou, Lachlan Griffiths and Roko Strika as Cooma's danger men.
Popovich is the leading goal scorer in the competition with eight goals.
"They have a few, notably Roko Strika, he's a fantastic player, really good to watch. I like to watch him play but when he is playing against us we hope that he has a bad game," Miceli said.
"They've got several players, Antoni Timotheou, Lachie Griffiths in defence, they've got Popovich up front, very dangerous players."
Belconnen have a point to prove against Cooma after letting a two-goal lead slip in their last encounter with the Tigers.
They led 2-0 after 85 minutes before "we fell asleep in the last few minutes of the game and conceded two late goals".
This season marks Miceli's first season as a first grade coach, coaching Belconnen United under 20's in 2019 and the under 23's last year.
"Look, it is my first season in first grade as a coach, I'm learning a lot along the way," Miceli said. "It's not easy but we're trying to present a brand of football here in Canberra that's good on the eye and hopefully the results will follow."
