The six-team league is enjoying one of its tightest seasons in recent years, but despite the amount of Brumbies talent sprinkled across each club, the competition remains overlooked by Stan Sport as a possible addition to its rugby coverage.
Rugby Australia included the NSW Shute Shield and Queensland's Premier Rugby competitions in their 2021 broadcast deal with the network, but excluded the ACT.
Regional streaming service BarTV instead broadcasts the John I Dent Cup, which means the Canberra competition can't tap into Stan's much wider-reaching potential audience.
With ACT Brumbies players regularly feeding into the local competition throughout and after the Super Rugby season, a national streaming platform would clearly boost traction of the local competition.
Pete Samu, Isaak Fines-Leilewasa (Brumbies), Corey Toole (Brumbies academy) and Tamati Ioane (Melbourne Rebels) have all been valuable inclusions to the Gungahlin Eagles.
Fellow Eagle Oscar Cunningham said a Stan Sport deal would be a great opportunity for players and clubs in the competition.
"I'd love it to be streamed on there, to feel like we're on the same playing level as those boys in Sydney and in Queensland," the Eagles prop said.
"We all know that in this competition we are well-equipped to be on that level, we all have that ability with good players and good teams."

Gungahlin superstar Corey Toole is the perfect example of a player who could benefit from the exposure with his performances this season, most recently scoring four tries in last Saturday's triumph.
"It would be great for him, he is one bloke who definitely deserves that next step," Cunningham said.
"If you roll on to watch a Wallabies game on Stan and then you press on Gungahlin versus Vikings, you will see this kid who absolutely tears it up and pulls something out of nothing."
Gungahlin was due to play Uni-Norths Owls on Thursday night in a blockbuster between second and third on the ladder.
This weekend's matches are being played on Thursday and Friday night to make up for a washed out round last month.
