This is an invitation too fantastic to ignore.
The National Film and Sound Archive is inviting adults wanting to relive their childhood to don their ugliest Christmas jumper and enjoy a glass of complimentary mulled wine at their Christmas in July screening of the 1984 classic Gremlins. Kids are welcome, too, but they won't be getting the wine.
The film, set during a snowy Christmas, will be shown at 6pm on Saturday. Canberra is set to be cold and windy on Saturday, perfect for some cinematic escapism.
