"Up the Milk" has evolved into "Up the Ken Behrens Milk".
The Canberra Raiders and major sponsor Canberra Milk have joined the latest craze sweeping the nation to launch a new jersey for their massive game against the Manly Sea Eagles at Lang Park on Friday night.
Raiders fans are always complaining ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr's never doing anything for their beloved Green Machine.
Well it doesn't get any better than this offering, with the captioning of a Barr COVID-19 press conference getting "Canberrans" beautifully wrong.
August fools! Alas, it's a wonderful joke that hopefully got Ken Behrens trying to order a new lime green jersey.
MORE RAIDERS NEWS
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart had a message for his fellow Ken Behrens, especially those who were part of a record 23,112 Green Machine members.
Canberra five-eighth Jack Wighton said earlier in the week they'd be doing everything they could to put a smile on people's faces back in the ACT.
"I hope everyone's safe and looking after their families in this difficult period," Stuart said.
"It's trying times for everyone because in Canberra we're all locked down and have to stay at home, but it's probably the smartest and safest thing to do to try and get back to normality as quickly as we can.
"To say that I'm proud [of the membership record] is probably an understatement - having people want to be a part of our club in such difficult periods ... is testament to the loyalty and support."
