NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro made the announcement on social media on Monday afternoon, well after the state's daily Covid update.

Mr Barilaro said all close contacts of the Googong case had returned negative results this week.

The NSW deputy premier also reported someone from the ACT had visited Sutton while infected with coronavirus on Wednesday and Thursday last week.

Mr Barilaro said a new exposure site had now been identified in Sutton as a result.

According to his post, the person visited The Baker at Sutton between 7.20 and 7.35am on Wednesday and between 7am to 8am on Thursday while infectious with COVID-19.

"Anyone who was at the bakery during these times should contact the public health team on 1300 066 055 and get tested and isolate," Mr Barilaro wrote.

NSW Health has advised that a pop-up drive through testing clinic will be run in Heazlett Street, Googong on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7am to 4pm.

"If you have even the mildest of symptoms, please get tested and isolate until you return a negative result," Mr Barilaro said.

It comes after NSW recorded 1290 locally-acquired COVID-19 cases and four deaths in the 24-hour reporting period on Monday.
