Raiders chief executive Don Furner said it had been a double whammy, with their licenced clubs also taking a hit.
But he said they were OK financially and hoped next year they could return to 11 home games.
In signing news, the Raiders were close to finalising a one-year extension for halfback Matt Frawley, but back-up hooker Siliva Havili was set to leave the club - potentially to join the South Sydney Rabbitohs - after four years in Canberra.
While Furner hadn't calculated the final hit from their shift to the Gold Coast, he said it was a significant amount.
They lost four home games, with the first two of those played before Canberra went into its current lockdown on August 12.
While the NRL planned to sit down with clubs at the end of the season to work out some sort of compensation, Furner said the governing body had also taken a massive blow.
He was thankful to the Raiders members, saying a vast majority hadn't asked for a refund from their membership despite losing their final four home games of the season after the Green Machine relocated to the Gold Coast due to the lockdowns.
"A lot of money. I haven't done the full analysis, because we're working through with members in terms of those that want to roll over and those that want a refund, also sponsors and corporate hospitality clients," Furner said.
"But it's in the millions - similar to last year.
"It's a double whammy for us because we obviously have the licenced clubs as our major backer and they're closed as well.
"Financially, in Canberra at least, sport, hospitality and tourism are the ones that are majorly affected."
The Raiders have locked in or upgraded most of their squad for next season, with the exception finding a replacement halfback following the departure of George Williams.
They've also bolstered their junior stocks with the signing on a development contract of centre Brandon Morkos from the Australian schoolboys side, in which Raider Michael Asomua was also named.
Raiders veteran Sia Soliola could have played his last game for the club following their loss to the Sydney Roosters on Thursday night.
Havili moving on will open the door for Adrian Trevilyan to take the next step.
"I've signed an Australian centre from the schoolboys, which is great. And Michael Asomua made it [in the side] as well," Raiders recruitment boss Peter Mulholland said.
"Morkos is taken on a development contract, one of the four. He's a good player, really good, and wanted to come to Canberra - knocked back offers from other clubs."
