The self-made millionaire, who owns 15 of the fast food restaurants, was not required to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court for the first mention of his case on Monday morning.

Magistrate James Lawton said the businessman's lawyer, Kamy Saeedi, had made "an electronic appearance" seeking an adjournment "for legal advice".

He granted a month, listing the matter for October 6.

The date of the alleged offence was not mentioned, nor was the alcohol reading police claim Mr Sidaros returned.

Mr Sidaros was dubbed "Mr Maccas" in a Canberra Times article about his growing business empire in March 2016.

At that time, he owned 12 McDonald's stores; a number bettered by nobody in Australia and equalled only by one other person.

Now boasting an additional three outlets, the Canberra Business Chamber website says Mr Sidaros' company employs more than 105 McDonald's managers and upwards of 1500 crew members.

The majority of his stores are in Canberra, with a few in NSW.

Mr Sidaros has been a regular attendee of the ACT courts in the last three years while supporting his Comanchero bikie son, Axel.

Sidaros junior is currently behind bars serving a sentence of nine years and nine months over his role in a shooting and arson attack on deposed outlaw motorcycle gang boss Peter Zdravkovic.

Axel Sidaros has always maintained his innocence, and is currently waiting to learn the outcome of an appeal against six convictions.
