The reception of Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health Service in Narrabundah was a casual exposure site last Friday between 8.30pm and 4.00pm.
The health service has closed and postponed COVID-19 vaccine appointments scheduled for Monday and Tuesday with a number of staff forced to isolate due to exposure.
Clients have been advised to attend the AIS vaccination centre or wait until Wednesday when Winnunga is due to reopen.
Winnunga provides COVID-19 vaccinations and testing to clients, though testing is accessed from a separate entrance.
"This is just a wake-up call to everybody to get vaccinated," CEO of Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health Service Julie Tongs said on ABC radio.
"Earlier in the week we had a vulnerable client that has some very, very complex health issues, that attended the clinic with no symptoms at all," she said.
"And on Friday afternoon we got a message to say that all of the staff that had been in close proximity needed to best tested, and this is the outcome of that."
Ms Tongs said all staff at Winnunga were fully vaccinated, and those that weren't had been stood down at the beginning of lockdown due to the risk to staff and clients.
